Mission
Our Senior program’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of our senior citizens by offering nutritious meals, increased access to needed health education, and physical and social activities that enable seniors to lead a healthy lifestyle as well as improve the quality of their life.

The Program
The Brady Center in East Dallas and the Neuhoff Senior Center at Marillac in West Dallas, provide Dallas area seniors age 60+ with congregate meals, resources, information and education, social support and access to medical care for low income seniors. Seniors are encouraged to participate in activities of their choosing.  A holistic and culturally sensitive approach is used in developing educational and advocacy programs and a calendar of events that offers a variety of activities.

Program Components
Nutritional Meals: Breakfast & Lunch served daily; Monday - Friday

Social Interaction & Fellowship: community is created when seniors participate in the days’ activities and celebrations.

Activities: Bingo, board games, cards, puzzles, daily exercise, outings and dances are available;

Presentations: Good nutrition, physical wellness, how to avoid fraud, personal safety, community resources offered regularly

Access to Medical Professionals:  Ophthalmologists, Podiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists and Nutritionists provide free services on site.

Transportation: available to and from the center if needed, planned events and Doctor appointments when possible.
