2016 Bishop’s Gala on Jan. 23 Featuring Renowned Band
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
For fans of legendary band Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons who also have a desire to help people in need, our Bishop’s Gala on Saturday, Jan. 23 will be the go-to event of the New Year.
This year’s gala will be chaired by the Founding Angels of Charity with Jere W. Thompson as Honorary Chair.
The 18th annual event, which will be kicked off at 6 p.m. by the acclaimed Jersey boy himself – now of Broadway Jersey Boys fame, too – best recognized for countless hit singles, including “Oh What a Night,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Walk Like a Man,” aims to bring poverty awareness.
In 2016, the spotlight will be on Catholic Charities of Dallas’ Financial Stability & Career Services program, providing both short and long-term strategies to alleviate pressing poverty and financial strain on families and individuals – from financial education to food assistance to employment services. The cost of the event at the Hilton Anatole is $325/ticket, with all proceeds going to poverty-centered programming.
The gala is the single most important fundraising event for Catholic Charities of Dallas. Our supporters have enjoyed the performances by Kenny Loggins (2008), Michael McDonald (2009), Diamond Rio (2010), Martin Short (2012), Steve Martin (2013), Harry Connick, Jr. (2014) and Chicago (2015).
